In 2020, when the world came to a pause, we started Mero Kishan
with a simple but powerful goal — to connect farmers directly to
consumers. What began as a small initiative has grown into a
full-fledged agri-ecosystem, encompassing fresh produce, FMCG
products, supply chain solutions, cold storage, seed production,
and more.
Why do we do what we do? Because 70% of Nepal’s
population depends on agriculture, yet most farmers struggle with
low prices, limited market access, and high post-harvest losses.
Mero Kishan was created to change that — to fix a broken system
where those who grow our food are often the ones who benefit the
least.
Since our founding, we have:
- Connected over 500 farmers to consistent markets
- Built a user base of more than 30,000
- Offered 100+ agricultural products across B2B, retail, and e-commerce channels
And this is just the beginning.
We are now expanding cold storage across five provinces, launching new FMCG product lines, establishing Nepal’s first large-scale seed production hub, and strengthening exports to regional markets. By 2030, Nepal’s agriculture sector has the potential to grow by 50% — but this growth depends on strategic investment in technology, infrastructure, and our farmers.
